HTC Touch Diamond 2

HTC Touch Diamond 2Compared to the Touch Diamond, the Touch Diamond we look much more conservative 2. The shape is still a black box, but this time there was a touch of dark silver color below the screen and the sides of the body. Motives behind the prism body disappeared, leaving only a silver triangle that surrounds the camera. We liked the taller body because it was more easily grasped. But we also still feel a bit annoyed with the traces her fingers on the surface of the polished casing and on the surface of the touch screen.

The good news, the screen size is much broader than the first generation Diamond. So we are "forced" to rely more touches for the operation of the device. Diamond 2 still provides a stylus, but you may rarely use it because the touch screen is very "finger-friendly". Each menu can be selected easily using a finger, let alone touch screen that supports multi-touch.

Touch Diamond 2 we received were still wearing the Windows Mobile 6.1, but HTC reportedly ready to offer an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. 2 own Diamond TouchFLO 3D provides fixed, ie the interface on Windows Mobile that works help us operate this device. HTC Diamond 2 is also equipped with an accelerometer, so when we change the orientation of the device to the Landscape position, the screen automatically changes to landscape position as well. However, this feature will only apply to the window Opera Mobile, messaging, and Album.

One new and interesting features in the TouchFLO 3D is Push Internet. The idea is that at certain intervals, Diamond 2 will download a web page so be ready as soon as you will read it. Push the Internet is available for just 4 pages. Another interesting thing is all about SMS, which can be selected between threaded (like chat) or classic. We also noted that JBlend show that this device supports Java.

For internet business, Diamond 2 capable of reaching speeds claimed 2 Mbps up-link and 7.2 Mbps down-link. However HSUPA capabilities will depend on the provider you are taking. Oya, Opera was the default browser, although Internet Explorer Mobile still there. As an alternative route, Diamond 2 is also equipped with WiFi facilities.

2 Touch Diamond has a MicroSD expansion slot located on the right side of the body and hidden behind the casing. At the bottom there is a USB port, like a well-used mini for charging the battery, data transfer, and earphones.

That your journey, could use GPS because there is no internal GPS antenna. There are Quick GPS and Google Maps. Cruise maps taste better by using touch.

Thanks for the information. I recently have HTC Touch Diamond. HTC Touch Diamond has a smart design and has all basic features. It has a 3.2 mp camera, image quality is satisfying. The battery life is average. The call quality is good. Performance-wise, its quite slow. It is very expensive. People who are crazy behind HTC should opt for this. HTC Touch Diamond has 256MB flash memory and 128MB RAM. For more details refer htc touch diamond review
